Wow today was a busy day. I almost thought I wouldn’t have time to shoot! That would’ve been really depressing, as it’s only 5 days in. I’m hoping for at least 30 before I start making excuses
Creativeness was not a big part of my day today. I had so much work to do I had to push shooting back all the way to about 9pm, so I kinda wanted to get it over with. Anyway. I wanted todays shot to be cool, but pretty normal. And I says to myself, who better to shoot than me!!
So here I am. With my trusty Macintosh. After a long, rough day. You can see how tired I am by the drooping eyelids..
Shot with a Nikon D80 with an 18-200 VR lens. About 45 degrees above my head is an AB-800 with an umbrella. To my left (your right) about 5 feet and about two feet back is a bare SB-800. I had to lighten up the Apple logo on my mac because I went with a high shutter speed to kill the other light in the room, mostly because I was being lazy. But hey, I deserve those liberties…
Here’s the setup:

I know what you’re thinking. I have a pretty raggedy studio. Well…umm.
It’s a pretty simple studio shot, but maybe that’s why I like it.
Let me know what you think!

Congratulations on your continuing saga. You and your best friend, Mac – perfect. I think you hit your target: normal, yet cool.
I like the red, white and blue. Was that intended to make a statement?
nope, no statement. but hey, we can pretend?
hooray Amurrica
