Yes. I know the lamp shade is crooked.
Hello everyone. It’s almost 11 o’clock and I’m exhausted, so it’ll be a short post tonight. Today I put of P365 for a pretty long time. It was nine thirty before I started thinking about my shot! So I walked around this house with my camera, looking for stuff to shoot. I had a couple ideas, but they would take me a few hours to shoot, so I went simple. This setup in the office appealed to me. There was a nice orange glow radiating from the lamp, hitting the globe beautifully. I really like the balance between the little fella, the lamp, and the globe. Pretty cool.
Tech. details: Shot in Shutter Priority at about 2″ (I don’t remember exactly and I’m too tired to look it up. Aperture was around 4.5. I went long with the shutter because I wanted that glow hitting the wall from the light and the reflections on the globe. Went to sepia in LR3 and bumped the contrast.
Phew. Night!
